About Us:
The Jam Hut is the outcome of a small debate, over a beer, between two old friends and ex-band mates, Gerry and Ash, on the topic ‘space’. Space went to music and the rest as they say, is history. Gerry and Ash have been buddies and fellow musicians for more the 15 years and avid listeners of Rock and Metal and collect LPs, Tapes, CDs, DVDs, Posters, Books and Trivia.
The Jam Hut is also promoted, supported and encouraged by immensely talented and experienced musicians, Herbert Paul and Ralph Christopher and also by Shouvik Choudary who happens to be The Hut’s first client and Drummer.
With the rising number of talented young blood in Bangalore we at The Jam Hut decided to start something to encourage raw talent and enhance the flavor of Bangalore as being the Rock capital of India.
The Jam Hut is fully equipped, very spacious and aptly situated on the Outer Ring Road close to Hennur-Banaswadi. Already quite a hit with the up and coming Bands of Bangalore.

Rehearsal Studio: Fully equipped Jam Room with 24 inputs on a Professional Behringer Mixing Board, Shure Mics with Mic Stands, 7-piece GB&A Drumkit with Paiste Cymbals, Custom made Bass Guitar with Washburn Pick-ups and High Quality Amplifiers and Speakers. We also provide a Keyboard on request. Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Jazz & Blues Bands can Jam as much as they want to. Loud and Clear..!!
Sale of New/Used Equipment: Several Musicians and Bands who frequent The Jam Hut have often enquired of where they can buy new or used equipment. They also have loads of equipment in great condition which they want to sell. This prompted us to start a platform where bands and musicians can sell/exchange equipment.
Media Conversion: We convert rare and out of print and concert recordings of LPs/ EPs and Audio Cassettes and Tapes to Audio CD or MP3 Format. We also convert VHS Tapes and MiniDV to DVD format.
